BRUGHH THE TEEF DID IT FOR ME. I was secretly hoping for some awkward teeth bumping but I thought that was too weird of a fetish for me to voice until now s-so fasdkfk

A-and the last panel ohhhh goodnesssss They way they are gazing deeply into each other’s eyes (perhaps a drunken stare into deep space IDK) and how their limbs are intertwined and how Adrian’s hands are all over Carter pulling him down aaaaa

I still can’t decide if Carter is gonna stop or not. My bf says he won’t, and I say he will. We have a bet going on about it now. xD Iiiii think Carter looks kinda guilty-face in that last panel….

I will keep raining praises on your art, because hnng that lighting! I also like that faint shadow of trees outside the window in the second panel. And how you have the two panels at the bottom with the different style/link thicknesses and YOUR ART HAS IMPROVED SO MUCH AHALFSJ. Your colouring. sdlfkj.

ALSO I LOVE THE FACT THAT CARTER’S ARM IS UNDER ADRIAN’S IN THE LAST PANEL……just little things like that make this even more lsdkfljkj worthy ;A;

And of course, who doesn’t love awkward teef-bumping? Oh, Adrian.

Alright so can anyone else tell me that I’m not the only one fascinated and awed by that last panel?

Ladies, you’ve outdone yourself with not just the art on this page but the tasteful way it was done with the minimal text to emphasise the events and the little “owww teef” reminding us all – in a subtle and non obtrusive way – that Adrian is in fact drunk (not that we could forget it, after all I personally want to beat Carter ((who’s tied for my favourite with – don’t shoot me anyone – David)) with a small mammal of some sort, perhaps a marsupial allowing for the possibility of possum).

I also love the setting of this scene it gets the heart racing, anyone could walk in – just as Carter did – and find something that could be very damaging to the reputations of two young men going through the emotional trauma that is high school.

Over all just a brilliant page, scene and comic and thank you for updating so swiftly and unexpectedly this week o3o

I really like it when people take the time to express their appreciation of little things like that.

I like to do that too but I don’t always comment on it.

So thank you for making me feel that people don’t always just run past pages like this desperate for updates to get to the good stuff, but that people stop and look at the kind of effort an artist can put into picking out panels and laying them out (conscious or not about this effort)

I often just post silly little commentaries but as I have recently begun the sketching stage of the first chapter of my own comic I’m really learning to appreciate the details, the work and the sheer amount of time which goes into this, and so I hope to make comments like this most weeks from now on to encourage Hazel and Bell that people do notice, even if a lot don’t psychoanalyse, they do notice the effort and details which go into it.

I’m so glad you do to by the way and I’ll look out for any further comments made by you since I’m now interested in how you’ll take certain aspects of the comic as opposed to how I do :)

Hahaha but I don’t always comment epically XD I sometimes get lazy. Well I often do. orz

but as someone who also works on my own webcomic I’m more of a ‘studyer’ than a ‘critique’-er…most of my critique is on grammar. I’m a self proclaimed grammar nazi. (Even if there is no such word as ‘studyer’…)

Hmm… I predict David walks in, Adrian gets embarrassed/mortified/crazy and leaves, Carter chases him and then we’ll be back to the prologue scene? o_o?
