When Hazel and I started ARH back in like 2011, we just wanted to make a webcomic. While we always hoped that it would gain a readership like this, we never expected how much it would change our lives, and the lives of so many of its readers.
Since then, we have experienced and grown and seen so much. We have met so many people, made so many friends, and grown as people. Always Raining Here was our first taste at making comics, which we now intend to do for our careers. We want to keep making comics because of this little comic that we started on a whim that snowballed into our first project.
Of course, we wouldn’t have come this far without you guys. Your reaction has made this whole ride more than worth it. Thank you everyone who commented every week, who cried and laughed and frantically made image macros of comic panels, who taped printed photos of characters faces onto body pillows and shopped 4l milk jugs into every frame. Your F5 buttons can rest now!

Decoy and Retrofit – Fall 2016-Fall 2017

Decoy and Retrofit is a post apocalyptic scifi story about two childhood friends who reunite while stealing a truck full of alien technology.

This is a prose short written by Bell and illustrated by Hazel that has been released on Patreon and in Sparkler Monthly online magazine.  Rated 18+ for disturbing themes and sexual content. Please proceed with caution.

Seeing y’all progress (mainly through the art) was absolutely amazing — this is one of the cutest and real stories I’ve read in a while, as well as relatable. I immediately fell in love with Carter, and sympathized with Adrien… thank you so much for putting in the time and effort to create such an amazing comic.

It´s sooo sad it´s over…. I found out about this Comic today and was reading it in one go,..it was sooo cute , Adrian was just adorable and Carter in his own way really charming.

This Comic was so good, you could compare yourself with the characters because they were so real. The Problems which they had could happen to any of us or already happened. Thank you for this awesome Story, I really fell in love with it.

I really wish you guys would make this a webcomic on Webtoon like that would be so awesome and post all your things there and side storys, and it would amazing especially for us younger people (like me the broke 15 year old highs school student that still can’t get a job or has a car that cant subscribe to your patreon….which I would I had the cash to HECK I WOULD EVEN BUY ALL THE MERCH YOU GUYS HAVE)

I was recommended this by my boyfriend even though I don’t normally read this kind of stuff. Through my life I’ve had very few relationships in general and I scorned relationships in my entertainment I think because I lacked love in my life, and I always scoffed at people being in love. Now that I have someone I love and it’s been serious for over a year I gave this a shot because he told me I should try it.
I read it all in one go and I cried multiple times. Some of the stuff here definitely translates to me and him especially the never stops apologizing thing Adrian did, that’s definitely me haha. By the end I was so incredibly happy for them and it made me just want to hold him like Adrian and Carter do at the end.
This comic is a treasure and it warmed my heart and brought me and my boyfriend closer together. Anyone out there unlucky enough to not have love in your life, don’t panic. I had to go until I was 27 before I finally met someone that thus far has been better for me than all my other relationships before that put together.

Oh my gosh! One of the best BL web comics I have ever read, this was freakin amazing! I read all 222 pages in one morning and that was insane lol It’s because this was so damn good and I didn’t want to read the rest later I needed to finish it. Was as good as an actual manga in my opinion, I’m so sad it’s over I really enjoyed it a lot :D

I’m gonna cry, I wish I could have been there to wait for updates and go along the ride with all the fans who were there to encourage you T^T it was honestly so cute and it’s making me feel 100x lonelier than I already am haha :”)) but anyways this is honestly one of my favorite webcomics now and I really appreciate all the effort put into this beautiful work UwU i wish you all good luck for the rest of your 2018 (and sup to the people reading in 2018!!)

My godness this comic is SOOOOO sweet I love it ! The design remind me of “Lou!” a french comic (that I don’t know if you know if because I’m french so I do, those comics (ARH and Lou!) Have thé same peacefull design. That make me want tout cry fuck)

Omg, i can’t believe I only just found this comic, you guys are so talented, I can see how you guys improve overtime throughout the comic. Never stop what you’re doing. You mangaged to convey all their emotions amazingly, this is a comic that I will never forget

One other great BL comic that’s still ongoing is “tripping over you”. I highly recommend it. It’s kind of like ARH but with other characters and a different story.

feel free to recommend every BL comic you know of~!!! but for real if you could please tell me more >/////< you have no idea how much of a life saver you would be. i live on the internet so i always need to have something to read.
