Though I am feeling sympathetic for Adrian, I just have to say: Did he REALLY expect Carter to still happily come to the play after how the talk between them went that shitty? I mean, he seems to surprised and the way he reacts indicates that he could only have imagined him not playing as a reason for Carter to give back the tickets. Adrian must be very very deep in his own little problem world to not consider that their argument MIGHT have driven Carter away.
I have a feeling Carter is in adrian’s back for some reason , and that is maria’s look .. and the fact that she left so fast …hm.
It would be good to see adrian chasing after the indifferent/pissed Carter, and see them switch roles from the beginning

Adrian gave them to carter because adrian’s parents aren’t going. Because carter doesn’t really want much to do with Adrian anymore, carter gave the tickets back to maria.

Okay! So in the last panel we see the color at the top faded a bit. I mean the Panel makes it seem like the world is crashing in on Adrian, like he’s finally realizing how bad he hurt Carter. And the tickets are just so noticeable and colored it makes me look at it and be like, “That’s it. That’s what made the world fall apart inside of Adrian.” And then I cried my eyes out because I just made the panel seem worse than it actually is,
I am honestly not sure who to side with in this quarrel. I’m not sure thats bad though, it lets me be unbiased.
