I notice that Carter glares at the pipe when he sees Rebecca name does he not like her?
It’s probably the fact that it’s up in his face like that which is bothering him. That and/or it ruined a nice moment.

GET THAT TELESCOPE OUT OF HIS FACE THAT IS UNCOMFORTABLE
There is not actually a telescope in Adrian’s face. Carter is lying down; Adrian is sitting up. There is empty space in front of Adrian, and no one could be there to put a telescope in his face.
Rebecca is using the telescope from some distance away (in the garden, most likely) to see what the boys are up to (because she’s a brat and/or a perv). And if see can see them, they can see her, if perhaps not in quite as much detail. Adrian knows he’s being spied on, and it makes him uncomfortable, for two reasons:
(a) He’s being spied on. That makes anyone uncomfortable.
(b) It is yet another reminder that the world is conspiring against him to pair him up with Carter. (That, after all, is why Rebecca is spying on them.) He’s no longer actively resisting Carter’s company, but it must not be comfortable to feel railroaded into a relationship.

Same here, but only more recently though, it’s usually just fine for me. My ‘forever’ lasts about 18 to 25 seconds (I know, it doesn’t sound like much when put that way, lol, but I have a fast connection) and I’ve noticed that it varies between either the comic page itself or the disqus stream being the last to load. Everything else pops into view after about 4 seconds…
